Education and Career

Mimi is a landscape designer with 25 years of experience.  She graduated from Boston University with a BA in Art History, graduated from The Landscape Institute at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University and then attended Columbia University for a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation.   She also has certificates of participation in the Fundamentals of Horticulture and Advanced Horticulture Programs at the New York Botanical Garden.

Before starting her career in Landscape Design, she worked for 4 years as an architectural apprentice to Randall Thompson, Jr. in Cambridge, MA.  Following a job as a graphic designer for The New England River Basins Commission in Boston, Mimi started her own graphic art production business, LINESbyLINES.  Finally, as a preservation consultant, she taught in an Artist in Residence Program at the George Washington High School in White Plains, NY. 

Mimi has served as President of the Bedford Garden Club for two years and is a Garden Club of America National Affairs and Legislation conservation delegate in Washington D.C.  She was an integral member of the steering committees for two Environmental Summits in the Town of Bedford, and now volunteers her time on the Food & Ag, Water & Land Use and Religious Entities Task Forces for Bedford2020.
